Finding BigfootFrom small towns in the South to remote areas of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, four eccentric but passionate Bigfoot enthusiasts embark on one single-minded mission: to find the elusive "creature" known as Bigfoot.
A documentary film by Dana Holyfield, the grand-daughter to Harlan Ford, who was first to report a sighting of this legendary swamp creature, and was known worldwide as the monster hunter. Holyfield ventured deep into the Honey Island Swamp, to search for new evidence of this legendary creature. She confronted several eye-witnesses, who live in the swamp, who were reluctant to talk about their encounter. She also located Mr. Mills, who was with Ford on the hunting trip, when they came face to face with the swamp monster. Mills tells of their encounter for the first time on camera. Ford's wife donated an 8mm film reel that she found in his belongings, after he passed away in 1980. The reel was labeled, "Honey Island Swamp Monster." Ford filmed a large, hairy, bipedal creature, walking upright, through the dense foliage. See Ford's footage uncut in this documentary film. This documentary film was filmed without a studio, and without a budget. It doesn't have special effects, or reenactments. It was produced solely by Dana Holyfield, who also filmed it, and edited the footage. These scenes were captured when the opportunity came up, sometimes spur of the moment when she came across an expectant eye-witness. So don't expect fancy lighting and great sound. But this film has received good reviews from film critics, and viewers, who enjoyed learning about this legend. When sold by Amazon.com, this product will be manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media.
